Who's the boss in Uzhgorod (Photofacts)
Last Sunday of October is the Day of the Motorist in Ukraine. Given the fact that this year it coincided with a major political event of the fall - the election day, today's issues of media (the day of "silence") are full of congratulations to tamers of metal "horses".
And for a good reason - because cars now are masters of not just transport routes. According to our readers, cars feel "comfortable" even in places designated for pedestrians.
Another fact was captured this week on Vakarov street in Uzhgorod, near the educational institution.
It should be noted that accustomed pedestrians have fatefully learned to squeeze in gaps between car monsters and houses, to maneuver between cars parked on pedestrian crossings... Perhaps, in order to draw attention to endangered population of pedestrians, they should consider introducing a "professional" holiday for them too. Maybe, thus they will be able to enjoy the right of cohabitation in the city with drivers for at least one day in a year...
