Uzhgorod schools have received new school supplies

Certificates for 32 sets of school equipment for first graders (a set includes 15 desks and 30 chairs) were given yesterday, October 23, to principals of Uzhgorod schools within the program of Transcarpathian Regional Council .

"We expected to have equipped first grades with school furniture before the first of September. However, due to well-known events in the country, we are able to do it only now, - deputy of the regional council Volodymyr Chubirko said. - The equipment is prorated to the number of students enrolled in a particular school. I think that first-graders will be glad to start their school life at the new school desks"

In total, 300 sets of school furniture have been purchased at the expense of the regional budget for the needs of the region.
