Transcarpathian state guards saved a weapon shop from "training" robbery

1 pm is the rush hour. At that time residents go on lunch break: some at home, others in cafes, diners, etc... And just when Uzhgorod streets are busy with cars the most, the head of the technical service department of the State Protection Service at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region Andriy Aleksyk decided to test officers of the special group for efficiency.

Such tests are carried out every day in order to effectively train detention groups to respond to an alarm. The purpose of the test is to determine how quickly the group will respond to a signal.

So, by prior arrangement with the client, a weapon shop was used as the facility, where the signal of triggered panic button will come from.

The button is triggered, the signal was received by the monitoring center, and Andriy Aleksyk started the countdown.

- The special group has three minutes to get to the scene - it is the standard in the city - the head of the technical service department of the State Protection Service said.

One minute has passed, a few more seconds, and the siren sound can be heard from afar. A few seconds later, the car of the state guards can be seen.

- The detention group arrived in 1 minute and 20 seconds - a very good result, especially in rush hour, - Andriy Aleksyk said.
