This year, only one in four university graduates have found jobs

During seven months of the year, 10,200 unemployed persons aged under 35 years have been registered in the region, including 4103 persons under 25. In the total number of unemployed, the proportion of youth under 35 is 45.8%.

Only one-third of them - 971 - have found jobs. Public works have been arranged for temporary employment and financial support for the unemployed, which 651 young unemployed persons have been engaged in.

In the summer, graduates of universities and technical colleges were also registered at the employment centers. Thus, out of 417 university graduates, only 109 people have been employed, out of 258 graduates of vocational schools - 76 persons have been employed.

The average wage of those, who have been employed, was only 1,498 UAH. Another problem is that 60% of all vacancies is in Uzhgorod city, Uzhgorod and Vynogradiv districts. In other cities and districts there are almost no jobs for young people.
