The chief priest is coming to Transcarpathia

October 21, there will be the festive liturgy dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Maramures-Sighet trial against the Orthodox. The celebration will be held at the St. Nicholas Monastery in the village of Iza-Karpovtlash on the day of glorification of Alexiy Karpatorusky (Kabalyuk), who was the main accused at the trial against the Orthodox in 1913-1914.

The celebration will be headed by the Blessed Onufriy, the Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine with bishops of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and bishops of the neighboring fraternal Orthodox Churches together with priests - the Khust Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate reported.

October 20, in the evening, there will be a festive Vigil.
