Participants of the ATO can vote... as IDPs
The government promised that the soldiers in the ATO area would be able to vote similarly to internally displaced persons.
This was stated by the Minister of Justice of Ukraine Pavlo Petrenko on Thursday to journalists in the Cabinet of Ministers, the UNIAN reported.
"The CEC has legal grounds to allow those, who want, to vote there similarly to unternally displaced persons," - he said.
According to Petrenko, to do this, there should be an updated list at the polling station.
As reported, on October 20, at the meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, deputies failed to put on the agenda the bill allowing soldiers, who are in the ATO area, to vote.

In turn, the "Aydar" battalion commander Serhiy Melnychuk said that soldiers of the "Aydar" battalion would vote in the parliamentary election, their lists have been submitted to the respective polling stations.
