OPORA announced the results of observations at the parliamentary election 2014 in Transcarpathia

In Uzhgorod Press Club, there was a press conference of the Transcarpathian office of the OPORA, which summarized the election campaign in Transcarpathia and in particular the election day.

Volodymyr Feskov, the coordinator of the OPORA election programs in Transcarpathian region told about typical violations on the election day, the work of the OPORA on the election day, and parallel vote counting.

According to Volodymyr Feskov, voting in the region took place in general normally, without any incidents. The OPORA received results of the parallel vote count conducted by the observers of the organization on the election day in Ukraine. "The error of these results is up to 1.9%, these are about the same results as those to be published by the CEC, – Volodymyr Feskov said.

– In general, the following political forces will be represented in the Paliament: the Narodny Front, Petro Poroshenko Block, Samopomich, the Opposition Block, the Radical Party and the Batkivshchyna. The parallel vote count was carried out at 1477 polling stations, we rely on the actual results, based on protocols and on the qualitative results that we have received from short-term observers."

As for the voting day, the OPORA recorded one material violation in the village of  Repynne in Mizhhirya district (filling in the protocol on results of the vote, during voting at the polling station) and traditional violations (issuing ballots without documents, etc.).

He also added that the violations registered on election day do not give reasons to question the results of the election.
