In Uzhgorod, journalists will be taught how to observe the election (ANNOUNCEMENT)

On Friday, October 24, at 18:00, in the "Cactus" cafe (the city of Uzhgorod, Korzo st., 7), there will be a training for journalists on "How to observe the elections?". This is a unique opportunity to obtain knowledge from qualified OSCE certified experts of the OPORA who train journalists under educational programs of the Institute of Mass Information.

Topics that will be covered:

- Innovations in the electoral legislation;

- Work of journalists on the election day and vote counting, what should be noted;

- Status of journalist. Interaction with other subjects. Physical and organizational safety;

- Most frequent violations in the electoral process and features of their coverage.

The duration of the training is 1 hour.

Journalists, who plan to observe on the election day at the polling stations, and beyond, and at the district election commissions, are invited to participate in this event.
