Uzhgorod welcomed heroes too: soldiers of the 128th brigade are back from "Luhansk hell" (PHOTOS)
After a boisterous, warm, homely welcome in Mukachevo, soldiers of the 128th Brigade living in Uzhgorod and neighboring districts continued their way home and stopped at the military unit on Drugety street (Uzhgorod).
Fifty men, who spent four months in the ATO area, arrived to Uzhgorod military unit.
This meeting was not as crowded. The soldiers were welcomed by a few dozen relatives, friends and volunteers.
The soldiers were greeted with little fanfare.
However, this did not make the meeting any less sincere. The soldiers were greeted by volunteers of the Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers, as well as friends and relatives. The parade ground was full of smiles, cries and tears of joy.
Together they were drinking champagne, singing the anthem Ukraine, chanting "Glory to Ukraine - Glory to Heroes" and just kissing and embracing each other.
Tired but happy soldiers would not talk about where they came from. They only confirmed that they indeed were in Stanytsya Luhanska, that it was not easy. One of the soldiers even said that "everything was fine."
Recall that the soldiers, who have returned home, are not demobilized. Now they will have a short 10-day leave, after which they will return to military units and, most likely, will go to the war again.
