Transcarpathian producers of mineral water have paid almost 5.4 million hryvnias
Since the beginning of the year, Transcarpathian mineral water producers have paid 5,381,000 UAH for the use of subsoil.
Carbonate springs are the most common in the region. There is a lot of them in Svalyava district - in the city of Svalyava and the villages of Nelypino, Solochin, Polyana, Ploske, Luhy. Overall, 11 entities, that do business in this district, have paid 4,756,000 UAH for mineral water extraction.
In addition, mineral water is extracted by one entity in Vynogradiv district, one - in Mukachevo district, two - in Mizhhirya district, and two - in Khust district.
Transcarpathian mineral waters are popular and are of high quality that is marked by numerous awards at prestigious international exhibitions. Carbonic sodium bicarbonate siliceous waters of some Transcarpathian springs in their composition are similar to the popular waters of France and Georgia. The uniqueness of their chemical composition is in a combination of hydrogen carbonates and silicic acid.
Remember that the Parliament of Ukraine adopted the Law "On prevention of financial disaster and creating conditions for economic growth in Ukraine." This law establishes rates for the use of non-energy, non-metallic minerals, underground waters, surface waters, curative muds (peloids) in the amount of 5% of the value of mining commodity.
