Transcarpathian boxer is a bronze medalist of the Championship of Ukraine!
Mukachevo boxer Arthur Kossuth won the bronze medal at the Championship of Ukraine
In 2004, father brought little Arthur to the gym when he was only 6 years old. For a few years, the boy was going in for kickboxing, and received the certificate of the I sports category. Over time, he realized that boxing was his calling, so he quickly switched to this sport. In 2011, when Arthur was 13 years old, he received the candidate master of sports award. He has participated in many tournaments not only in Ukraine, but also abroad, and became the champion of the region. He successfully participated in the championships of Ukraine for juniors.
Last week, the young Transcarpathian athlete won the bronze medal of the Boxing Championship of Ukraine held in Enerhodar, Zaporizhzhya region. The event was attended by boxers born in 1997-1998. Arthur Kossuth joined the team of Transcarpathian region in the weight category of 49 kg. He was trained for the competition by Valeriy Vyshnyov - the first coach of Arthur, who has made a lot of efforts for a successful start in his sports career. Currently, the boy is studying in Lviv State School of Physical Education in the Department of Boxing.
