Tires have been brought on Poshnova Square. They say that the protest is for indefinite term (PHOTOS)
Today, at 12:00, an indefinite term protest against the reinstated Uzhgorod Mayor Victor Pogorelov, the Secretary of the City Council Bogdan Andriyiv, and the City Council as a whole started. Other demands are the audit of the City Council activities since 2010 (ie since the election of the current Council and the mayor).
This was reported by the Pro Zakhid.
Only 10-15 people and about the same number of media representatives came to the protest. The organizers are people who are associated in the city with the former Mayor Serhiy Ratushniak. They brought some wood, a few flags and tents. That is they declare that they are going to stay there for a long time.
The City Council Secretary Andriyiv came to talk to the protesters. He wanted to hear their demands. As a result, he heard a lot of compliments and learned that these people are not interested in his intentions on the new position - they just want all of them to quit voluntarily and to have the City Council dissolved.
In turn, Andriyiv boasted that he had done a lot for the city, had never been involved in carve-up and in intrigues against former City Council Secretaries Victor Shchadey and Vitaliy Semal. And also, that he had given more money for the ATO than all who have gathered around him on the square together. After that, Andriyiv left and people continued to put up a tent.
To be continued, it seems...
