Three hundred participants of the ATO have been treated in Mukachevo military hospital
According to the head of the hospital Yarema Becker, since the outbreak of hostilities on the territory of Ukraine, 299 ATO participants have received medical care in the Ministry of Defence military hospital in Mukachevo. Most of them are Transcarpathians, but wounded soldiers from other regions of Ukraine are treated here too. Currently, 66 ATO participants are undergoing inpatient treatment at the hospital.
On Wednesday, October 5, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Vasyl Hubal visited the facility to check the conditions of treatment, the availability of necessary equipment of the hospital, and the mood of the soldiers. He was accompanied by the Regional Council Chairman Volodymyr Chubirko, representatives of the Transcarpathian Military Commissariat and management of Transcarpathian military units.
Speaking to the wounded soldiers, the head of the region asked them if they were satisfied with the conditions in the hospital, and what worried them. The wounded soldiers assured that the conditions in the hospital were fine. Vasyl Hubal told soldiers that after the treatment, the ATO participants can undergo rehabilitation in regional sanatoria. The rehabilitation will be free of charge and available to their family members too, the regional authorities made changes to the program "Care" to ensure that the ATO participants would receive everything they are entitled to. Vasyl Hubal again thanked the soldiers for their heroism and said that he was always ready to hear their appeals about any issues that concern the ATO participants and their families.
The head of the RSA inspected the hospital rooms that, by the way, are richly decorated with patriotic drawings, and bathrooms that have become greatly improved over recent weeks thanks to volunteers.
Then, the head of the region and the chairman of the regional council gave the hospital the most essential medicine, mainly anti-inflammatory drugs. The management of the region agreed with the Mukachevo medical institution on the assistance in MRI examination of the wounded soldiers at the district hospital.
