In Transcarpathia, prosecution offices will be significantly downsized

Of the 15 district level prosecution offices in Transcarpathia, only 5 will remain after the adoption of the new law "On Prosecution". Thus, the law that was published in the Official Journal of the central executive power on November 14 provides for the establishment of 5 local prosecution offices in Transcarpathian region.

Thus, Beregovo local prosecution office will serve the city of Beregovo and Beregovo and Vynogradiv districts. Mukachevo local prosecution office will serve the city of Mukachevo, and Mukachevo, Volovets and Svalyava ditricts.

Tyachiv local prosecution office will serve Tyachiv and Rakhiv districts. Uzhgorod local prosecution office will serve the regional center, Uzhgorod district, the city of Chop, and Velyky Berezny and Perechyn districts.  Khust local prosecution office will serve the city of Khust and Khust, Irshava and Mizhhirya districts.
