Hungarian and Transcarpathian groups will play in the Bokshay museum (Announcement)

December 6, 2014, at 17.00, in the hall of the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum named after Y.Bokshay, there will be a joint concert of Janos Lovott Chamber Orchestra from the city of Sátoraljaújhely (Hungary) and the Ensemble of Soloists headed by Olena Korolenko.

 
Janos Lovott Chamber Orchestra was established in 1990 by teachers and top students of music schools in the Zemplén region. The group plays many concerts in the territory of Hungary, as well as Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine, Holland and Germany.   The orchestra has​ recorded 7 audio albums.
The repertoire of the orchestra is diverse – ranging from the Baroque to modern music, and the manager and musicians of the orchestra strive to promote and introduce audience to the verbunk style music which was founded by Janos Lovott.

The artistic director and concertmaster of the orchestra is Janos Dombóvár.

The program of the concert will start with winners of the International D.Bortnyansky Competition – the Ensemble of Soloists headed by Olena Korolenko who will perform pieces by Honored Artist of Ukraine Istvan Marton.
