How many days off will Ukrainians have for the New Year holidays?

The Cabinet informed how many days off Ukrainians will have for the New Year holidays. In total, we will have 9 days off.  

The Cabinet of Ministers has prepared the order for the transfer of business days during the holidays. As stated in the draft government order "On the transfer of working days in 2015", on New Year’s holidays, Ukrainians can rest for 9 days.

The Cabinet recommends heads of enterprises, institutions and organizations to move working days in 2015 from Friday, January 2 to Saturday, January 17; Thursday, January 8 to Saturday, January 31; Friday, January 9 to Saturday, February 14.

According to the document, Ukrainians will rest from 1 through 4 of January (Thursday-Sunday), January 5-6 will be working days, and then 7 through 11 of January will be days off again (Wednesday-Sunday). The working week will begin on January 12. 

In addition, January 17, January 31 and February 14 will be working days (Saturdays).
