Anti-terrorism training was conducted in Transcarpathia
On November 20, the regional coordinating group of the Anti-terrorism center at the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region conducted a planned command and staff training at the Uzhgorod train station.
Anti-terrorist agents of the region, including the management of regional offices of the Security Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and State Emergenies Service, the State Border Guard Service, the National Guard battalion of Ukraine, government officials, railway station employees and others took part in the training.
The objective of the training was to check capabilities in preventing terrorist threats at the transport facility, to improve the efficiency of interaction of agents ensuring anti-terrorist operations and public safety.
The participants of the training worked on the sequence of actions in the event of possible threats, intensified measures to ensure the smooth operation of the facility under emergency conditions and to prevent threats to human life and damage to the transport facility.
During the command and staff training, they also discussed the measures to increase cooperation with citizens for the common fight against terrorism.
