A Party of Regions member became the Secretary of Uzhgorod City Council! And other “personnel” changes… (Updated)

Uzhgorod City Council today disappointed again. After the dismissal of the Secretary of the Council Vitaliy Semal, Olga Travina was elected as the chairman of the session and read out a statement from 32 MPs to nominate for the post of the Secretary Bogdan Andriyiv – deputy, who was elected to the Council by the Party of Regions list. 

Tomorrow, November 21 is the Day of Dignity and Freedom, the anniversary of the Revolution of Dignity will be celebrated in Ukraine soon… And Uzhgorod City Council keeps electing Party of Regions members as their leaders… Those members of the system, which the Ukrainian community fought against. And all this at a time when the best people, the patriots of Ukraine die in the East… 

So, according to the results of the secret ballot, for which 60 ballots were produced, 41 were handed out, all valid, 40 deputies voted "for", 0 – "against", 1 abstained.

The deputies approved the decision with 38 votes.

So, we have a new Secretary of the Council, and therefore new Acting Mayor – a Party of Regions member Bogdan Andriyiv…

The audience booed the decision, shouting "shame".

The new head of the city traditionally promised to work for the benefit of the community.

Social activists wonder how soon bus fares in Uzhgorod will rise again (Bogdan Andrew is known as the most powerful business owner in Uzhgorod).

The "personnel" session continues. They are changing the head of the executive committee, the first deputy mayor and the deputy mayor. 38 deputies voted "for".

Oleksandr Volosyansky is dismissed from the post of administrator of Uzhgorod City Executive Committee, 39 deputies voted "for".

The Acting Mayor will have one more deputy, 32 deputies voted "for". 

Ivan Voloshin became the First Deputy Mayor, Olga Travina – the Deputy Mayor, Daniella Gevorgyan – the administrator of Uzhgorod City Executive Committee.

In general, the decision was adopted.
