Two Ukrainian banks were recognized insolvent

Two banks of the businessman Serhiy Kurchenko - "Real Bank" and "Brokbiznesbank" - were declared insolvent. The decision was made by the order of the National Bank.
Individuals Deposit Guarantee Fund introduced in the banks a temporary administration for 3 months - until June 2, 2014.

Recall that in February, the National Bank introduced a number of restrictions to maintain stability in the foreign exchange market. In particular, since February 7, legal entities and individual
entrepreneurs can buy dollars on the interbank market only on the sixth business day after the transfer of the necessary funds in hryvnia. In addition, Ukrainians were banned to withdraw money
from foreign currency deposits in amount of over 15,000 UAH per day.
