Transcarpathian policemen financially supported Ukrainian army

Law enforcement officers donated their one-day salary, which in total amounts to about 70,000 UAH, to finance the Ukrainian army.

Yesterday at the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, there was a meeting of the personnel of Transcarpathian police where participants discussed the socio-political situation in the country. It was suggested to transfer one-day salary of employees of the regional staff to support the Ukrainian army.

- It certainly will not solve all the financial problems existing in these conditions in Ukraine, but the state could certainly do with about 70,000 UAH, - the Acting Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region Lt. Colonel Serhiy Rosokha said - Of course this is entirely voluntary, so soon we will agree on a transfer mechanism. We suggest all police departments of our region to participate in this good cause.
