Today activists in Uzhgorod will picket the Regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It is said in a statement posted on the pages of "EuroMaidan-Uzhgorod" in social networks.
That is activists express their disagreement with the appointment and will picket the Office at 15.00. This was stated in social networks by members of the Self-Defense and the Right Sector.
"ATTENTION!!! Today at 14.30, the Right Sector will picket the Regional Office of the Minitry of Internal Affairs. Join Us" – the brief statement says.
Yesterday at the conference, the newly appointed head of the regional office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vasyl Turday said that his appointment had been "agreed with the public" which apparently is not true.
Also, as you know, Turday stressed that if the community disapprove his appointment he would write the statement of withdrawal.
As the leader of the Right Sector in Transcarpathia Oleksandr Sachko has just commented to Uzhgorod.in, the picket, which should express disagreement with the appointment of Turday, was initiated by the public, who are not satisfied with this decision. The Right Sector supports people and will participate in the protest.
