Law enforcement officials discuss the security in the region without Lunchenko

The great coordination meeting of law enforcement agencies, which began in the regional prosecutor's office and is dedicated to the security in the region and combating crimes, is taking place without the head of the RSA. Valeriy Lunchenko, as they reported, is busy receiving ambassadors.

Instead, in the room, there are not only prosecutors and police officers, but also representatives of the court as well as those of "revolutionary" organizations, such as the Lustration Committee, the Public Convention and Automaidan. Of course, there is also the Right Sector of Transcarpathia. Especially, since at first they were supposed to be the main topic of the meeting, as it was announced by the deputy prosecutor (now removed from the office through lustration) Ivan Kailo as such, where they would consider "the facts of lynching" (and, obviously, Kailo was referring to actions for the removal of Vasyl Turday from the office of the Head of the Ministry Internal Affairs of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region).

However, after yesterday's events, the prosecution office "came to their senses" and did what they had to do - initiated a meeting on real law enforcement issues. The first speaker - the deputy prosecutor Andriy Bakay - among other things, informed: in 2014, the number of crimes in the region has statistically decreased, the rate is 16.5 offenses per 10 thousand people.  The most criminogenic locations in the region are Mukachevo, Uzhgorod, and Uzhgorod district. The next speaker was the Acting Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region Serhiy Rossokha, despite the information that the region has a new chief of the police (so far, also with the prefix "acting"). Rossokha informed that he believes the fact that they managed to avoid the theft of weapons is an achievement of the police.
