Kyiv does not give Transcarpathia all the money

As of March 1, local budgets of the region received taxes and duties (mandatory payments) in the amount of 229 million hryvnias, representing 103.5% of the corresponding figure for January-February 2013, or 7.8 million hryvnias more. 

During January – February, the region received from the state budget equalization grant in the amount of 377.7 million hryvnias, representing 72.3% of the planned amount. Kyiv did not give Transcarpathia 144.7 million hryvnias.

Local budgets of the region received from the state budget subsidies in the amount of 311.3 million hryvnias, including 305.2 million hryvnias to the General Fund, or 92.7% of the planned amount for January-February, and 6.1 million hryvnias, or 78.2% of the planned amount to the Special Fund. In particular, the following subsidies were received:

295.9 million hryvnias was allocated for assistance to families with children, poor families, disabled from birth, children with disabilities and support for orphans and children raised in family type orphanages and foster families, 6.1 million hryvnias, or 78.2% of the planned amount was allocated for construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance of streets and communal roads in populated areas.
