Ivan Baloha called self-governing authorities to take the initiative
On Tuesday, March 25, at the Regional Council, there was an expanded meeting with heads of district councils and mayors of cities of regional importance. It was held by the cahirman of the Regional Council Ivan Baloha. The agenda included current issues, such as the socio-political situation in the country and the region, specific legislative proposals, landscaping, fight against gambling, and others.
First Ivan Baloha said that while they are deciding on the candidates for heads of district state administrations, district councils should take the initiative and maintain the life of districts and communities. No one has deprived self-governing authorities of the rights, granted to them, and their duties. "Listen to the people, and work transparently and publicly - Ivan Baloha encouraged heads of districts and cities. - Please set aside the issues that cause mixed reaction in the community - property, land, rentals and so on, and focus all efforts to ensure that all institutions of education, medicine, transportation, road maintenance, social welfare work properly.Particular attention should be paid to interethnic and interfaith relations. Peace and understanding in districts, villages and cities is the most important. Do not stand aside and act for the good of our country, for the benefit of its residents."
This is particularly important in the current difficult political situation.
