In Uzhgorod, millions hryvnias will be spent for cleaning and repair

17 million hryvnias – this is the amount of funds for the objects of improvement, according to the Programme for Economic and Social Development of Uzhgorod for 2014 and the main directions of development for 2015 and 2016. The document was adopted by the majority of the City Council deputies on February 3, 2014.

In particular, 6.5 million will be spent for the cleaning of roads;

elimination of unauthorized dumps will cost 153 thousand;

planting – 2 million 124 thousand 200 UAH;

maintenance of cemeteries and graves organization – 535 thousand;

maintenance of street lighting – 600 thousand;

electricity for street lighting and traffic lights – 420 thousand;

maintenance of recreation areas – 25 thousand

maintenance of benches – 80 thousand.

As for major repairs of streets, according to the document, 6,458,000 UAH from the development budget is provided for this good cause.

On paper, the repair of 8 Bereznya street will cost 350 thousand, the repair of Mozhaisky street – 2 and a half million, the repair of Lavrischev street – 150 thousand. 

63,000 UAH is provided for the needs of cyclists. This is the money for the development of bicycle infrastructure.

As you know, the planned revenues to the treasury are equal to 490,527,100 UAH. Precisely the same amount is planned to be spent.

The feature of the Programme of the socio-economic development, as well as of the Uzhgorod budget for 2014, is that they are technical. That is, each time, the money will be re-distributed from one item to another.
