In Uzhgorod district, a pensioner found an arsenal of weapons
Yesterday, a 70-year-old pensioner from the village of Chervone in Uzhgorod district reported to rescuers that in the garden near the house, during the excavation, he had found a mortar shell of WWII period with traces of corrosion.
During the inspection of the scene, rescuers, in adition to that mortar shell, found two more mortar shells of 82 mm caliber and one artillery shell of 152 mm caliber of the WWII period with traces of corrosion. In the evening, the bomb squad of the State Emergemcies Service transported this ammunition to military training ground near the village of Orikhovytsya where it was disposed of.
