Yesterday, a resident of Khust district reported to Khust city police that at night, an unknown person had damaged a transformer in one of the villages.

At the scene, the police officers found out that an unknown person, through free access, had committed the theft of a high-voltage transformer winding cover and two high-voltage fuses from the the main gas pipeline "Soyuz".

It should be noted that the main gas pipeline "Soyuz" (Orenburg-State Border) was built in 1975-78 together with Bulgaria, Hungary, East Germany, Poland and Czechoslovakia. Its length on the territory of Ukraine is 1,568.5 km. On the pipeline, there are 12 compressor stations.
