In Perechyn, the community defended the memorial stand to the Heaven's Hundred (PHOTOS, DOCUMENT)
Representatives of the Party of Regions demanded from the activists to remove it, but people legally defended their right to place the banner.
After the tragic events, public activists placed a banner with heroes of the Heaven's Hundreds in the center of the town, at the entrance to one of the stores. They agreed it with the entrepreneur who rents the premises. The man gave the permission without any objections.
However, later representatives of one of Transcarpathian officials, local Party of Regions members appealed to the activists. They insisted that the house, on the facade of which the banner was set, was their property, so they had to remove the pictures.
Lengthy negotiations came to nothing, but then activists found out that after the sale of apartments in the 5-storey building, the real owners of the house are residents themselves represented by the condominium "Zatyshok".
On April 1st, activists approached them. Residents of 14 apartments (out of 28) signed the statement that they had no objection to the banner on the wall of their house.
