In Mukachevo, a man robbed his fiancee
A 24-year-old girl appealed to Mukachevo city police to report the theft of a gold bracelet weighing about 15 grams. The applicant suspected her boyfriend of stealing.
As the law enforcement officers found out, the young couple had been dating for a long time and planned to hold a wedding. However, after the shameful act of her boyfriend, the girl flatly refused to even talk to him.
One evening, while cleaning her room, she noticed the disappearance of a gold bracelet from the drawer where she kept the jewelry. Since the thing was exclusive, she only wore it for the holidays. According to the victim, she bought this bracelet two years ago with the same man, who robbed her.
After the mysterious disappearance of the jewel, the first, whom she suspected, was her boyfriend. He had access to the home and knew where she was keeping valuables. However, when asked whether he had taken her things, the man immediately confessed and promised to buy it back from the pawn shop, where he had put it up.
This went on for several months, until she understood that he was deceiving her. Then she turned for help to the police.
According to the senior investigator of Mukachevo city police department Yevhenia Zubak, this incident was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations on the grounds of Part 1 of Art. 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Theft." The resident of Mukachevo, who previously has had no problems with the law, now faces the penalty in the form of fine or arrest for up to 6 months or imprisonment for up to 3 years. Pre-trial investigation continues.
