In Irshava district, the man, who killed his brother through jealousy to a woman, was convicted

By the decision of Irshava district court in Transcarpathian region, the resident of the village of Kraynya Martynka was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 4 years. Old parents lost one son forever, and the other one was put in jail because of jealousy and vodka.  


It was Christmas. Brothers and the girlfriend of one of them were celebrating and drinking vodka. At midnight, the woman complained to her partner that his brother had been hitting on her with indecent proposals. The man responded aggressively to this, there was a fight between brothers. Then the younger brother dragged the elder one out into the corridor, where they continued to fight. Then, he threw the elder brother to the street and told him to go home to Kraynya Martynka. The man saw his brother falling on the street, but he left him lying on the cold ground, and went back into the house. However, the old mother implored the son to bring his brother back to the house, which he did, and then went to bed.

The next day, the woman's son saw that his uncle was sick. The boy called and an ambulance and the police. However, upon the arrival of doctors, the man had no signs of life...

The investigative team of Irshava district police department immediately arrived in the village. They began to ascertain the circumstances that led to the man's death.    Forensic findings showed that the man had died of multiple injuries, fractures and slaughter of the brain. Then the brother told was really had happened. The cause of the quarrel and fight between the brothers was the woman.

In court, the brother sincerely repented, he did not want his brother to die.According to the verdict of Irshava District Court, the brother-killer was sentenced to 4 years imprisonment.
