How the Right Sector handed over weapons to the police (+ PHOTOS)

The Right Sector of Transcarpathia came to Transcarpathian police with weapons. As you know, the current government in Ukraine called, quoting official reports, "illegal armed formations" to disarmament. In particular, this applies to the Right Sector. Yesterday, representatives of the organization in Transcarpathia announced that they were ready to hand over all unregistered (!) weapons that they had. The promise was fulfilled, and today they brought to the regional police department a whole arsenal. And quite special one.

Here's how it started at noon: almost like in American movies - men in camouflage brought in a jeep boxes with weapons... As promised, they were left right in front of the regional police department building. Without exaggeration, the original arsenal includes more than two dozen models. Here, there are so to say "machine-guns", "pistols", "revolvers", as well as something more akin to, say, "blaster"...

Volodymyr Hlasner, the spokesman for the Right Sector of Transcarpathia commented right next to the "arsenal": "We brought all existing unregistered weapons. What you saw is the weapons that was not registered and that we had. Sorry, but we have no other unregistered weapons." The police had to thank the Right Sector.

Oleg Podebriy, the spokesman for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region, says: "Perechyn boarding school, which is sponsored by the regional MIA office, will receive these toys, we should thank the Right Sector for that. On the other hand, our demand is the same: unregistered illegal weapons should be handed over to the police."

However, the police refused to tell whether they had any information about any unregistered weapons in possession of the Right Sector.
