"Eastern troopers" in the Carpathians were stopped Chop border guards

Last weekend, Chop border guards detained another five illegal immigrants "from the East."

In the first case, it was the work of border guards of "Velyky Berezny" department. They received the information on the movement of unknown people towards the Ukrainian-Slovak border in advance. This allowed them to apprehend three men and one woman without documents on the outskirts of the state border.

The detainees told that they had no documents and had come from Afghanistan. Subsequently, police officers learned that one man and a woman (spouses) had already been detained for trying to illegally cross the border with Slovakia near Uzhgorod. For the other two men, it was the first such trip. When asked about the destination, one of the detainees said that he wanted to get to Germany. The remaining offenders "modestly" replied - "to the EU."

In another case, soldiers of the "Verkhovina Bystra" department deployed in Velyky Berezny district arrested a citizen of the Russian Federation. The man intended to illegally get into one of the countries of Western Europe without any documents.

The offenders were delivered to the station to clarify the circumstances of the offense and make administrative and procedural documents. The decision on legal liability and their future fate will be taken in the court.
