Crimeans forced to leave the peninsula can receive help in any office of the migration service in Transcarpathia

Due to recent developments in Crimea, a significant number of Ukrainian citizens are forced to leave the peninsula and move to the mainland of Ukraine.

Pursuant to the relevant order of the head of the State Migration Service of Ukraine, the Main Department of the SMS of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region organized provision of help on passport issues for citizens who are registered in the Crimea and Sevastopol. In particular, it is the restoration of the lost passport of a citizen of Ukraine, pasting photos into it upon reaching 25 and 45 years of age, replacement of a passport due to change of name and other reasons.

Thus, these categories of persons may obtain passport services in the nearest territorial office of the migration service in the region at the place of arrival.

It should be noted that the simplification applies only to citizens registered on the Crimean peninsula. Citizens of other regions of Ukraine can receive these services only at the place of residence.
