Clergy and diplomacy supported Valeriy Lunchenko (Letters)
Bishop Ordinary of the Mukachevo Diocese of Roman Catholic Church Maynek Antal sent a letter to the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Valeriy Lunchenko, in which he congratulates and expresses support for the newly appointed head of the region.
"We ask Lord, who created mankind, who gives love to all and waits in his beautiful kingdom, to strengthen peace in Transcarpathia, to bring mutual respect between people of different faiths and nationalities, thus building a better and peaceful Ukraine", - the letter reads.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to Ukraine Dr. Arhita Daudze supports Valeriy Lunchenko and is ready to work closely in order to create favorable conditions for the development of relations between Transcarpathian region and Latvia. The diplomat is aware of the importance of changes in today's Ukraine and correct decisions of the heads of state and their representatives in the regions. "In this difficult time for the country - in the time of transition and forming a new civic consciousness, Ukraine needs unity more than ever. It is important to promote the unification of society to maintain peace and integrity of the state. The development of each region ensures prosperity across the country.
