According to the results of declaration campaign, which ran from January 1 to May 1, 2014, a citizen "V" filed a declaration and declared the income of 4.9 million hryvnias. He received it by winning the state lottery. The Transcarpathian will pay to the budget 831,000 UAH of tax on personal income. This example was cited during a press conference by Mykola Butenko, the Deputy Head of the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region.
Journalists also learned other interesting examples of income declaring. Thus, a citizen "M" filed a declaration with the largest amount of income to be included in the total annual taxable income – almost 66 million 780 thousand hryvnias.
Two more citizens declared income of over 1 million hryvnias, namely a citizen "A" – foreign income of more than 1,010,000 UAH and PIT in amount of 171,7 000 UAH, and a citizen "B" declared the income from dividends amounting to 1,400,000 UAH (PIT withheld by the tax agent is 70,000 UAH).
The income in the form of additional benefits (bank debt relief) was declared by a payer "K" in the amount of 130,000 UAH, he will pays to the budget 20,000 UAH of taxes.
A citizen "P" received the gift of non-residential premises worth 515,500 UAH and declared 25,800 UAH of PIT to be payed.
