A talented Transcarpathian footballer, whom they could not "steal"

This week, in neighboring Slovakia, there was an international football tournament for juniors "Slovakia Cup-2014" with the participation of our boys, the Lobda informed.

Oleksandr Holovko called 18 players to participate in the competition. Among them, there was a Transcarpathian footballer Oleg Kvych (pictured under number 9).
The young Transcarpathian first got in a spotlight long before his appearance in the national team. Stry "Skala", where Oleg plays, accused one of the top teams in an attempt to "steal" an extremely talented junior Kvych and eventually kept him. Oleg enters into professional adult football as an anticipated rookie: he is regularly called to the junior national team of Ukraine in his age category, and the head coach of the Stry team Knish this winter was actively using him in many control matches of the main team. Kvych is a swift player, who likes space where he can show his speed and technique.

On Friday, May 2, the national team of Ukraine made of players born in 1996 won silver medals of the Slovakia Cup-2014 tournament.
Despite the unfortunate defeat in the final from the Russian team, our guys showed the will to win and honorably represented our country in this international tournament "Slovakia Cup-2014".
