UzhNU ranks 41st among the top 200 universities of Ukraine

The Centre for International Projects "Euroeducation" in partnership with an international group of experts presented the 8th Academic Ranking of Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine "Top-200 Ukraine".

Its method is developed according to international principles of university ranking and provides for a comparative analysis of the achievements of universities of different types based on a number of universal criteria (quality of scientific and educational potential, quality of education, international recognition, etc.)

For 8 consecutive years, National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" and Kyiv National University named after Shevchenko have remained at the top of Ukrainian universities. Other universities, that retained their places in the top ten, are Kharkiv National University (3rd place), the National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" (4th place), the National Mining University (7th place), Dnipropetrovsk National University (10th place).
NTU "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" (5th place), the National University "Lviv Polytechnic" (6th place) improved their positions. Lviv National University named after Franko went up from the 14th to the 9th position.

This rating of Ukrainian universities, also has two Transcarpathian ones - Uzhgorod National University and Mukachevo State University

UzhNU took the 41st place among 200 universities of Ukraine (in 2013 it was 43rd). And MSU is on the 180th place. This is an achievement, because last year this university was not in the top 200 at all.
