Traffic police informs on transportation of organized groups of children

During the summer holidays, when the number of various trips and transportation of children to holiday destinations increases, the number of traffic accidents involving children also increases. Of course, it's not their fault, especially as adults must assume full responsibility for the safety of children on the road.

The information below will be useful for both entrepreneurs-carriers and their clients: heads of educational institutions and camps, parents and others.

According to the Resolution of the CMU dd. 18.02.1997 № 176, the carrier no later than 3 working days before the scheduled transportation of an organized group of children, shall report to the territorial unit of the traffic police the date of each such transportation, and shall submit routing scheme and bus schedule for approval.

Transportation of organized groups of children shall be carried out only in daylight hours and under favorable weather conditions.

Transportation must be carried out by experienced drivers who have experience of driving at least 5 years.

If the route extends beyond the settlement and its length which is more than 250 km, two drivers must be employed.

Dear adults, please follow these simple requirements for transportation of children, because their safety is entirely dependent on you.
