They went to the East...

On the Day the Constitution of Ukraine, in the regional center of Transcarpathia, near the MIA Office, more than sixty Transcarpathian policemen were officially sent to the East of Ukraine to defend the State.

The consolidated detachment of Transcarpathian police officers lined up in front of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Office building on Rakoczy street. The anthem of Ukraine is played.

Father Mykola and Father Tydir blessed the policemen for the protection of Homeland.  

A lot of people, primarily the family and friends of our defenders, came to wish them good luck. The general command of the consolidated detachment in the eastern Ukraine is entrusted to the Deputy Chief of the Minsitry of Internal Affairs Office, the chief of public security police Oleksandr Hebesh.

The acting chief of the police of Transcarpathia Serhiy Sharanych assured that Transcarpathian police officers were provided with all necessary means of passive protection. Those are helmets and body armor. He thanked the citizens, who do not stand aside and help police and army with everything they can.
