The Carpathians will unite Ukraine
On June 28-29, there will be the nationwide campaign "Shoulder to shoulder. The Carpathians unite Ukraine", which aims to demonstrate the unity of the Ukrainian people in the pursuit of peace and a bright future, the Uzhgorod.net informed.
During the campaign, the participants will climb to the highest peak of the country - the Goverla, on top of which they will install the word "PEACE", perform the national anthem and say a prayer for Ukraine.
The event will be attended by leaders of NGOs, students, athletes and pop stars from all over the country.
The day before climbing, on the Constitution Day of Ukraine, on the Yablunetsky pass, there will be the grand opening of the largest trident in Transcarpathia and unveiling of the monument to the Heaven's Hundred in the village of Yasinya. Later in the afternoon, there will be the holiday "Transcarpathian feast."
The event will finish with a symbolic ignition of Hutsul bonfire and the concert.
