In Uzhgorod district, law enforcement officers prevented an attempt to tie-in to the oil pipeline
On Saturday night, law enforcement officers prevented an attempt to tie-in to the pipeline. Around midnight, at the distance of two kilometers from the village of Chabanivka in Uzhgorod district, they found two "MAN" trucks and a self-propelled drilling machine used for underground laying of hoses.
The equipment was located 300 meters from the main pipeline "Druzhba", owned by the "Ukrtransnafta" JSC and possibly was used for an attempt to tie-in to the oil pipeline and unauthorized pumping of petroleum products. No people were found at the scene.
During the preliminary inspection of the scene, no signs of tie-in to or damage of the pipeline "Druzhba" were found.
