Officers of the Security Service of Ukraine disclosed and stopped illegal activity of the state inspector-auditor of Mukachevo STI, who demanded undue advantage from the director of one of the limited liability companies.
The state employee, promised the entrepreneur, in return for 15,000 UAH, to decrease the amount of the penalties accrued after the routine tax audit of the Mukachevo company.
June 2, in one of the offices in Mukachevo, officers of the Security Service of Ukraine detained the bribe-taker "red-handed" after receiving the money.
June 3, the regional prosecutor’s office notifed the taxman of the suspicion of having committed a crime under Part 4 of Art.368 (acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of unlawful benefit by an official) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The pretrial investigation continues.
