Summer in the Carpathians is considered "off season." Because of this, owners of hotels and estates significantly lower prices for accommodation and catering. For a few hundred hryvnia, they offer tourists many facilities in a hotel, which in winter will cost several times more. You can find a good place for as little as 50 UAH per night for two people. The cost of rental differs depending on the popularity of the resort, proximity of attractions. The same applies to catering.
The food in the Carpathians is always delicious. Here, they try to restore old recipes and surprise tourists. The lunch in a restaurant, for example, near Yaremcha, Yasinya or Bukovel will cost 30 UAH for one person. Prices in supermarkets vary, just like with housing, depending on the popularity of the resort and market competition.

And do not forget the silence. In the summer, it is very quiet in the Carpathians.
Picking mushrooms and berries
In June, the season of berries and mushrooms picking begins in the Carpathians. If the summer is rainy, there are many mushrooms in the woods. In summer, sellers of berries and mushrooms sit along the roadside.
Some may think that there is nothing to do in the Carpathians in summer. But it is not so. Doors of all the museums are open for tourists, trails to waterfalls, mountains and so on are free.
In the summer, you will see a lot of cyclists traveling in the mountains in search of unique places. They put up tents near roads, cook delicious meals on fire. Bicycle trips in the Carpathians are really great. Do not forget to take your camera to the journey, because in the mountains, there is a lot to photograph: the life of the countryside, green mountains, mountain streams and flower meadows.
