Members of Uzhgorod City Council passed the decision to have the tariff for water supply in the city remain at the level that was in effect before July 1, 2014 – before the NERC approved the new price of 11.84 UAH.
This is what they demand from the central government in their appeal.
However, the practical application of this decision is questionable, since it is not the city council that sets the tariff for water supply in Uzhgorod, and the NERC has aprroved the new one which, accroding the them, is consistent with its cost.
