Uzhgorod benches are destroyed again (PHOTOS)

Benches damaged by vandals are a sad reality of Uzhgorod.

Correspondents of the Uzhgorod in. have repeatedly made series of pictures with damaged or broken benches in the regional center of Transcarpathia.

Our publications, fortunately, almost every time caused prompt responses and benches were repaired by activists or the city government.

But unfortunately, there is still a lot of work to be done – vandals do not sleep.

On Slovynaska embankment, for example, there is a bench which you could probably sit on, but then you would have to watch out not to fall, instead of enjoying the peace and beauty of Uzhgorod. 

In the Bozdosh park, there is also at least one bench damaged by vandals.

And in the Pidhradsky park (in Soviet times, Gorky park), one of the benches for a long had a crippled look. 

A few weeks later, instead of repairing, they removed it.

In addition to this, our correspondent recorded 2 more damaged benches there.

We conclude that in Uzhgorod, there are some people who get pleasure from destruction of city property, including benches.

This is probably a diagnosis…
