Transcarpathian Security Service of Ukraine has agreed to work closely with journalists and active community

About fifty people gathered at 12 pm near the building of the regional office of the Security Service of Ukraine. This event was caused by some attempts of destabilization of the situation in the region, which took place this week. Those were road blocking and separatist calls of individuals in social networks.

Representatives of the media and the public were immediately invited to a meeting in the building of the Security Service. During the meeting, activists showed the staff of the office screenshots of pages from social networking, where certain people expressed calls for separatism. In addition, journalists presented the appeal with a list of questions to the Security Service of Ukraine.


Participants of the rally also demanded to disclose the facts that will show the public the real situation in the region and contribute to securing peace in the region.

The Regional Security Service of Ukraine Office noted that the situation in the region is under control, there is a lot of work being done, investigations into various facts are ongoing. All the received information is checked and studied. Also, the office noted that the attempt to destabilize the situation in the region is beneficial to certain groups of people whose names for security reasons were not disclosed. Soon, a telephone hotline start working in the region, by which Transcarpathians can report facts of encroachment on the territorial integrity of the country and disseminating separatist slogans.

The participants of the rally, after more than an hour of discussion, hope that soon the public will see the results of the activity of the Security Service, and the situation in the region will remain safe - the "Den" wrote. emphasizes: the Service has created a page and a group on the social network facebook - for prompt response, and by the end of the day, a "hotline" - land line and mobile - is to be opened, where people can report separatist calls and other hazards, as well as provocations regarding mobilization.
