Transcarpathia sheltered more than 600 people from the ATO

Today, 601 citizens, who have moved from the temporarily occupied territory and the area of ​​the ATO, have found refuge in Transcarpathia. As the head of the regional office of the State Emergencies Service Miroslav Shcherbey assured, everyone, who has applied to the regional center for social security of such citizens, has been granted temporary housing, mainly thanks to charity and volunteer organizations. In this center, rescuers are on duty around the clock.

Also, there are 10 children from Donetsk in the region. They, in connection with the anti-terrorist operation, were forced to leave their homes and move temporarily to Transcarpathia. The children spent six days in the hotel complex "Shypit Karpat", in the village of Pylypets in Mizhhirya district, and now they are resting at the children's camp in the village of Yanoshi in Beregovo district, the site of the office informed.
