The project "Independence" is launched in Uzhgorod

The project is not just dedicated to the Independence Day, but, according to the authors, reveals the essence of the word "independence." The project was created by the group "Cast Group", which consists of social engineers of Uzhgorod. The main idea of the project is to show that the independence of the state is the work of the nation, bar none.

Probably no one have paid attention to it, but in Uzhgorod, during the holidays, they hang out not so many flags, as in other cities of Ukraine. This is partly due to the fact that many quarters in the city consist solely of private homes. So, with the help of local producers, activists plan to make a large number of brackets in the form of Uzhgorod emblem, which people will hang flags on during the holidays. Brackets will be offered to owners of homes and buildings in exchange for a donation that will be used to support the Ukrainian military. Each bracket will have a commemorative plaque informing that this particular home and the family in the summer of 2014 donated their funds for the needs of the Ukrainian army.

The project will take cooperation of many people and organizations. To develop sketches of the brackets, manufacturing, distribution, fundraising for the army, delivery to the ATO zone where soldiers are heroically doing their job every day. All this is our common struggle for independence, in which every person has its place.

There are plans to launch an information Internet portal where everyone can follow the project virtually online. Activists believe that with the progress of the project, the number of people willing to participate in it will increase.

The war will end one day. Our boys will come back home. When they walk the streets of our city and see our brackets on the walls of buildings, they will be pleased to know how many people helped and worried about them.

Anyone who wants to participate in the project as a volunteer or a sponsor, please contact the project coordinator, Ferenc Baki, tel.: 066-884-14-64.

Also, we welcome all ideas and any assistance to the project. Your help is very much needed for those who are fighting for the sovereignty and independence of our Motherland! Glory to Ukraine!
