Paving in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)
Of course, it is a good thing, but as you know, devil is in details. This is how they pave Pidhirna street - photos were sent by Yuriy Uhryn, the coordinator of Transcarpathian Automaidan and a member of the transport committee of Uzhgorod City Council.
The fact is that when cutting out a pit and preparing it for further paving, workers did not take care to raise the manhole. And that means that car wheels will continue to hit against the bump, and the road will get damaged again, not to mention cars.
As Yuriy Uhryn commented, it is a pity, because it indicates that "there is no master." He says, "It seems that we have everything - the money for patching repairs is allocated, and the asphalt has been supplied, workers work, but no quality. Because the contractors do not want to do it as it should be done."
He has repeatedly raised the issue on the transport committee. But so far there are no results. Maybe responsible officials will finally listen and ensure that road repairs in Uzhgorod are performed properly and not higgledy-piggledy?...
