Lunchenko: Patching repair of national roads in the region will begin any day now

On Monday, July 14, at the meeting of the Council of Churches and Religious Organizations of the Regional Clergy, they talked about the state of roads in the region. In particular, the clergy were interested in how the construction and repair of roads is being ensured in the region.

As to the condition of roads in the region, according to Valeriy Lunchenko, last Wednesday, the region received 3 tanks with bitumen. So, under favorable weather, patching repairs of national roads will begin any day now. He also informed the priests that out of 70 million hryvnias Transcarpathia needs for the year, the region received only 7 million. This situation is understandable in view of the recent developments in the East of the country, because the Government accumulates all the money for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, protection of its integrity and state borders.

During the constructive meeting, the head of the RSA said: "We may be Europe on paper, but most of all, we must have appropriate education, modern infrastructure, social and economic stability. Today the authorities are doing everything possible to implement European values and standards in actual lives of Ukrainians."

Finally Valeriy Lunchenko said: "In out prayer, we will ask God for peace for our Ukrainian motherland. I hope that at our subsequent meetings, we will not talk about war casualties, and discuss more positive topics of public life, including Transcarpathia."
